The surface of vinyl windows and doors will overtime collect a layer of surface dust and/or dirt. Semi-annual inspections, regular cleaning and lubrication of windows and doors is recommended. A mild houshold soap solution may be used. Do not use strong thinners/solvents, abrasive/corrosive detergents or hard sponges. In higher humidity areas such as bathrooms, kitchens or basements use white vinegar or bleach solution to remove or kill mold if occurs. Please check and adjust humidity to a recommended level in these areas.
All moving components and sliding tracks should be lightly lubricated witn silicone spray for smooth operation. |
